Shelby + Zach were married at the Crest Center in Asheville, NC and it was a beautiful day! We started out the day with Shelby getting ready at her beautiful home in South Asheville. Her ceremony was gorgeous and her reception area was breath-taking. Bobby Marks did her flowers and decorating and I have no words to explain how beautiful it was. Check the video out to see! Shutter Owl provided photography and DJ P-LO The Ultimate DJ and Live Music Experience kept the party going at the reception! What a fun wedding! See Shelby’s review below that she left us!
Read MoreHannah called me a few weeks before her wedding, which happened to be right in the middle of the COVID craziness. She told me they were having to change all of their plans and like all of our COVID brides she was discouraged. My heart hurt for them and everyone else in this situation. I told her first and foremost I was here to do anything I could to help them have their best day whether that meant moving their date, having a smaller wedding, eloping, going to next year, a different location, ANYTHING to help!
I can tell you from the way these two handled COVID and their wedding plans being disrupted, they’re going to have a great marriage and be able to handle anything life throws at them. They were so sweet and KIND during the whole process and went with the flow. The whole time they tried to keep things in perspective and when their day came they were able to truly enjoy it. They were able to focus on their vows and their special time together.
Their amazing venue (Chateau Selah) still allowed them to marry on their original day. It was a very intimate wedding with just their parents and Hannah’s maid of honor. This venue was beautiful and I can’t wait to work there again. After they visited and we took photos/videos we drove to Beauty Spot on Unaka Mountain. It was freezing but it was SO worth it to get these photos and videos. Hannah + Conner were amazing to work with and I truly enjoyed my time with this sweet couple!
Read MoreMackenzie + Logan were married at a beautiful cabin rental in Maggie Valley, NC with amazing views. It was a very intimate wedding centered around Christ. They worshipped together and were joined in marriage and it was a blessing to be a part of their beautiful day. I also enjoyed working along side Logan Simmons Photography at this wedding. She was great to work with!

These two were head over heels for one another and I loved getting to film their elopement. This wedding was planned through Elope Outdoors and flowers were provided by Flourish Flower Farm.
Read MoreChristine + Drew’s wedding had been planned… and replanned… at least 4-5 times because of COVID. These two had the best attitudes towards the whole thing and when their day finally happened they soaked up every minute of it! Their wedding was full of love and it was a joy to be around these two! I LOVED their vows and it was a pleasure to be there to capture the beautiful day for them at The Overlook Barn in Banner Elk, NC. Those views were amazing!
Read MoreTaylor + Jonathan’s marriage was a perfect example of during COVID, how LOVE IS NOT CANCELLED! Their plans were thrown to the wind with COVID and they moved everything out a year. A few weeks later they called me, and said they were going to still get married even if it was in their backyard. They didn’t want to push it out a year. So they moved forward with a “backyard wedding” at Taylor’s childhood home. The wedding was amazing. They wanted a fun video from the day with just the highlights and no vows mixed in. I loved how the video turned out - what a fun group of people to be around!
Read MoreMarie + Danny’s wedding on top of Black Balsam Knob was one to remember. These two were so precious, and so in love. And it was so special to have Danny’s sister there to marry them (she introduced them years ago!). Another fun fact about this wedding was that Danny wrote and recorded the first song in the video!
Read MoreI’ve filmed countless weddings at Chestnut Ridge in Canton, NC. It’s one of my absolute favorite venues to shoot at. It’s only rained a couple times when I’ve been there, but for Madison + Madison’s wedding day it rained ALL DAY LONG. I’m talking, maybe a 5 minute break in the rain all day. I felt so bad for them but when me and the photographer were alone with them, they were giggling. They were laughing saying they LOVED the rainy day and said “this rain is SO us!”
I felt like I was watching a love story on Netflix just being around these two. They were head over heels in love with each other. I cried myself when I saw (boy) Madison gasp and cry when he saw his bride coming down the aisle. These two are genuine and their love story is absolutely beautiful.
