What’s your process for booking?

We first hear from our clients via email or website inquiry first. There is NO pressure. We will contact you back (usually within an hour!) and provide you with more information, pricing, etc. We are here to answer your questions and help you with your session, whether it’s for your wedding, a family get-together, special event, or real estate job. We know everyone is different so if you’d like to chat via email, text, phone, or in person, we’re game for whatever form of communication works best for you. Once you’re comfortable and ready to move forward, we have a short agreement for you to fill out and we ask for 50% to save the date (for weddings), and the remainder is due a month prior to your wedding. FAQ

Where are you based?

We are based in Waynesville, NC, right outside of Asheville.  Most of the weddings we do range from Asheville to Gatlinburg/Knoxville, down to Northern Georgia, over to Charlotte, and everywhere in between, especially Western North Carolina. We also love to travel!

​How long have you been doing photography + videography?

We have been doing photography and videography professionally since 2005.

How many hours of coverage will you have at my wedding?

This depends on the package that you choose.  Most people book us for either 6 or 8 hours (we can come up with a custom package if you need something different).

Do you provide the raw footage from the wedding day?

I am happy to provide you with the raw footage for $250. Video files are very large and it takes hours to transfer the data onto a large format flash drive. This covers the cost of that.

How do you do your agreements and payments?

I have a short electronic form for you to fill out, and 50% is required up front to save the date, and the remainder is due 30 days prior to your wedding date. I do have a 25% payment option available if needed!

If we book your photo/video package, when can we schedule our engagement photo session?

We work most weekends so we prefer to do your engagement pictures in the Asheville/Waynesville area Monday through Thursday in the evenings. If you’re one of our TN couples we can meet you at Max Patch or we can come up with another spot that works for us both!

​How long does it take to get our photos and video after the wedding?

You will receive your final video approximately 8 weeks after your wedding.  Photos are often delivered around 6 weeks. It is so important to me to make each photo and video I do very special and unique to the couple. I don’t use templates and I don’t outsource - I custom edit every single video together from hand and spend a lot of time picking out the perfect songs and matching everything up just right. I am a perfectionist when it comes to completing your final product and I want it to be awesome! I never rush the process.

Can we pick the music that you use in the video?

I like to follow the rules and stay out of trouble :) It is illegal to use music in your video where the rights have not been paid on them. I have a GREAT website that I pay a premium amount for yearly so I can purchase the perfect songs for your video.  There are some great mainstream options on there. I usually wait until your wedding so I can see from your reception what type of music you like or the vibe that I feel, and I pick your music based on that. If you would like to pick your own music, I can send you a link prior to your wedding and you can let me know which songs you’d like me to use!

Do you outsource your editing?

I don’t outsource ANY editing. I (Jen) edit everything at my computer! I want each photo I deliver to be PERFECT and each video to be amazing for you. It’s always my goal to properly reflect what your wedding was like, and what your style was, and you can’t do that when you outsource to someone that doesn’t know you!

If we book 6 hours of coverage, is that continuous coverage or can we break our hours up over the day?

Coverage time is continuous - when we start photographing or filming we will be documenting your day nonstop except for when you and your guests eat dinner (which is typically when we will take a 10 minute break to eat as well). When you are tucked away or relaxing prior to ceremony we are busy capturing ceremony and reception details/drone footage/candids of guests, etc.

Do you give discounts?

At this time we do not offer discounts other than military, thank you!

Do we save money by bundling Photo + Video together for our wedding day?

Yes you do! We offer significant savings if you bundle our photo + video together. The reason for this is that it gives us the most creative freedom and we work seamlessly together. We know how to maneuver around each other during the wedding day and how to work together best to get you the best photos and videos possible.

We have a photographer booked already - will you work well with them?

We get this question quite often and we can say with confidence that YES we will work great alongside your photographer! We actually get a TON of referrals from photographers which means they like working with us on a wedding day, and we are constantly told we are some of the most laid back, easy videographers to work with. We believe that your day is about YOU and we want to bring our ideas and creativity together with your photographer so that we can both get you the best product at the end of the day. If you book us for video only we will be sure to reach out to your photographer ahead of time and introduce ourselves if we haven’t worked with them before.

What does the final video product look like when you deliver?

For our typical wedding video packages, we deliver your videos to you via an online hosting website where your videos will be stored safe for 10+ years! See below to see what this looks like.
