Chestnut Ridge Wedding - Anique + John

Anique and John’s wedding was not only a blending of their hearts but also a blending of their family cultures and traditions. It was so much fun capturing their special day in these wedding videos. The couple celebrated uniting as husband and wife with a Nigerian wedding ceremony and also a traditional USA ceremony. The minister, Darryl Dayson, noted the kind of love these two share is “other worldly” and “divine”, and that everyone should learn to be a part of this kind of sacrificial love.

The couple’s wedding celebration took place at Chestnut Ridge, in the mountains of NC. Mingle Events coordinated the wedding for Anique and John. The ladies were stunning thanks to hair styling by Danielle Roche from Salon Roché and makeup by Promise Boseman of Asheville Beauty Bar.

The reception was filled with so much energy and dancing. DJ Twan kept the energy going all night long. We were happy to sneak away for just a few minutes, however, so Anique and John could read their personal vows to each other by candlelight overlooking the mountains. This was such a sweet addition to their highlight video.

Catering by Corey served guests an incredible meal and the four tier wedding cake was created by 50/Fifty. Drinks were served by Cordial & Craft and transportation was provided by Young Transportation. Calligraphy for the wedding was handcrafted by Joy Unscripted. We worked alongside Phil and Kristen Photography to capture Anique and John’s wedding day.
